22′ ABI was meticulously built and maintained by Beetle boatbuilder Manny Palomo and featured in the Nov/Dec Issue #247 of Woodenboat Magazine. ABI has a Sabb 10G diesel with a keel cooler and dry exhaust. The boat is cat rigged with a single halyard and headboard sail. A 100 watt solar panel keeps the batteries charged when cruising and powers interior lights, chargers, cabin fans and small fridge. Her layout includes a large aft deck, a swim platform with undermount drop ladder, and a tiller autopilot for long trips by oneself. Below deck there are 2 large quarter berths that run the length, raised deck forward with sitting head room, and ss water tank for dishes. The boat has always been stored inside in the off season, and is currently available for viewing in Mattapoisett, MA. PRICE $80,000.
