32′ Noank Schooner, Year 1988
The 32′ Noank Schooner was designed and built by Jack Wilbur in 1988 and called “We’re Here”. Jack was inspired by the fishing sloops of his home waters of Noank, CT over a century ago, and built over a half dozen variations of these boats. The Beetle Boat shop restored and relaunched the boat in 2011 and renamed it “William Bassett”. The schooner was sailed to Mystic, CT that same year where it won the Best Professionally Restored Sailboat award at the 2011 Woodenboat Show. The restoration work included all New: deck, deck beams, cabin top, rails, Westerbeke 44 engine & systems, rigging, oceanus sails, sunbrella sail covers, cushions, and all hull cosmetics. This one of a kind classic boat is being offered at $35,000. Appointments for viewing must be made in advance.
